Defamiliarsation lab is an ongoing workshop which forms a larger research on behaviours and modes of existence that characterise urban built environments.
Through a process of observation and image-making these repeating scenes attempt to disrupt the automatic perception of the urban experience and recalibrate how we see and report our immediate environments.
This series along other photographic works presented on the website aim to define the role of image-production as a critical artistic device within design processes.
